The General Charitable Society of Newburyport provides temporary financial assistance to people in the community with limited resources who are experiencing short-term financial setbacks.
Who Should Apply
Individuals and families living in Newburyport, who have limited resources and may be experiencing times of disruption and hardship are encouraged to apply to GCSN for short-term assistance.
Examples of hardship can include (but are not limited to):
Unable to meet your monthly budget for expenses
Loss or interruption of employment
Illness or injury
